The Ask:
The Centers for Applied Science and Technology (CAST) is a network of tuition-free, industry-led, career-themed high schools in San Antonio. The first school to open in the network was CAST Tech, followed by CAST STEM, CAST Med, and CAST Lead. During the inaugural year, the CAST network needed marketing and public relations assistance to communicate their unique model and drive student applications.
Our Strategy:
Spotlight the specialized curriculum by directly speaking to students who identify as coders, programmers and geeks, who want to get a head start on their career path. Double-down on social media marketing to be where young people are.
The Impact:
The inaugural class of CAST Tech was completely full, with 175 diverse students enrolled in three months’ time.
